Overview

SlickCalc ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Data You Enter

All calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into our calculators are not sent to our servers, and we do not store them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Statcounter to understand how the site is used. These services may collect:

  • Pages visited, time of visit, and general usage patterns
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Referring website
  • Approximate location (derived from your IP address)

We also send Google Analytics a few usage events, such as when a calculation is started or produces a result, together with the calculator's name. These events do not include the numbers you enter.

Google Analytics and Statcounter use cookies to recognize returning visitors. They process this data under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Statcounter Legal & Privacy.

We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell personal information.

Local Storage

Some calculators save your last inputs (such as weekly hours or a loan amount) in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you return. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Cookies

SlickCalc itself does not set cookies. The analytics services above set cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Services

  • Hosting and delivery: our own servers, with pages delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Statcounter, as described above

Children's Privacy

Our calculators are available to users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
