Female Delusion Calculator
Set your standards for an ideal man and see what percent of guys in the United States actually meet them. Realistic, or a little delusional?
How the Female Delusion Calculator Works
The female delusion calculator estimates what percent of American men meet your dating standards. Set a minimum height, income, age range, and education level, and it looks up how many men qualify on each trait using US Census Bureau and CDC data, then combines them into one match rate.
The phrase 'female delusion' went viral as a tongue-in-cheek way to ask whether a woman's ideal man actually exists in meaningful numbers. Stacking a few high standards — say 6 feet tall, a six-figure income, and not currently married — can cut the pool from tens of millions of men to a much smaller group. For related calculations, see our BMI calculator and salary calculator.
Keep it light: the calculation assumes traits are independent, but factors such as education, income, age, and marital status are correlated. Because of those relationships, the actual percentage may be higher or lower than this estimate. Curious about the flip side?
